Exhibition Simina Badea - "Erscheinungen"

What's it about?

A deep world full of archaic symbolism aims to be explored by the gallery in the middle, Hopfgarten i.D., with its upcoming exhibition. In the fantastic cosmos of Simina Badea, allegorical figures unfold, which she sets in meditative ornamental color fields. Engaging with Simina's work means following the magical aspects of life with her. In search of harmony, gentle forms are found, within which life and themes develop in a variety of ornamental elements. In the latest series "Radiance," aesthetic patterns radiate on circular canvases. Hung irregularly side by side and on top of each other as a series, the circular images complement each other to form a diverse, poetic interplay. Simina Badea, born in 1984 in Sibiu / Hermannstadt, Romania, studied graphics and printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. She has participated in numerous Austrian and international exhibitions and biennials.
