Evening lecture on water in the Kultursaal Anras. How can a sensitive natural area be carefully developed without over-dramatization? How does the primal power of water and a clear vision create a sustainable flagship product that delights guests and brings long-term value to the region? The Lechweg and the Iseltrail are considered prominent showcase projects for gentle tourism across the Alps. Both long-distance hiking trails manage the balancing act between authentic nature conservation and high tourist appeal: they focus on the untamed river landscapes of the Lech and the Isel, rather than creating mere backdrops.
