Birgit Mörtl - African Heart For me, travel is more than a holiday - it's an encounter. As a photographer, I don't just look for special places, but for the moments that shape them. I'm interested in the real: unposed emotions, natural lighting moods and the soul of the moment, captured naturally. My work moves between travel and portrait photography. My pictures are created out of curiosity, respect and the desire to make stories visible - honest, timeless and close. The world with its breathtaking flora and fauna has always fascinated me.
