Atmospheric mountain Christmas at Katschberg. The Christ Child arrives by horse-drawn carriage – musical accompaniment and gifts for children. On Christmas Eve, Katschberg invites to a particularly atmospheric Christmas celebration. On December 24th at 4:00 PM, the traditional Bergweihnacht takes place at the village square of Katschberg – a festive experience for the whole family. A special highlight for young guests: the Christ Child comes by horse-drawn carriage and brings a small gift for each child. The festive atmosphere is provided by the brass band of the Trachtenkapelle Rennweg, which musically accompanies the event and plays Christmas melodies over the village square. The Bergweihnacht at Katschberg combines alpine winter romance with traditional customs and invites locals and holidaymakers alike to start Christmas Eve together in a contemplative mood.
