What's it about?

Two brilliant ensembles, under the overall direction of Markus Fellner from Rangersdorf, will provide a wonderful summer sound experience in the Wirtstadl. The six musicians of Wenn's passt Musi are connected not only by their Carinthian origin but also by their enthusiasm for traditional folk music. When musical perfection, passion, and friendship harmoniously come together, something special is created, whether it's original compositions, classics of Alpine folk music, or typical Carinthian songs. A congenial addition to the young instrumentalists are the unique voices of the renowned vocal ensemble Quartett MundART. With the highest professionalism and unbroken passion, Petra Schnabl-Kuglitsch (alto), Marianne Wienerroither-McArdle (soprano), Franz Mörtl (tenor), and Gerald Karnel (bass) dedicate themselves to singing folk songs, especially those from the bilingual Gailtal. The joint concert of the two ensembles is an absolute MUST for all friends of authentic folk music.
