Snowshoe Tour on the Jamnigalm

What's it about?

The winter world of the high-alpine Mallnitzer Tauerntal is the destination of this snowshoe hike. The meeting point is the paid parking lot at the Stockerhütte, where you will receive your rental equipment from your National Park ranger. With the winter taxi, you will then travel along the toboggan run to the parking lot at Jamnigalm at approximately 1,600 meters above sea level. Once there, the moderate snowshoe hike begins through the enchanting winter landscape on Jamnigalm, where, with a bit of luck, wild animals can also be observed with binoculars. Your National Park ranger will explain why wild animals are particularly sensitive to disturbances in winter. The tour ends at 1:00 PM, and the winter taxi will be available for the return trip.
