The photographs by Walter Schramm, first published in an extensive photo book in 2018, will be on display in the Grafiktrakt in the 2026 season. The exhibition brings together a selection from his photographic oeuvre, created over decades, which captures the lively environment of the Austrian art scene in general and Museum Liaunig in particular in striking snapshots. Since the opening of Museum Liaunig in 2008, Walter Schramm has accompanied exhibition openings, encounters, and events with a keen eye. His photographs move between reportage, portrait, and situational observation, without appearing staged. Rather, they show people in authentic moments: in conversation, in exchange, in experiencing art. Schramm's photographs are characterized by a special immediacy. They are spontaneous "light images" that capture atmosphere, dynamism, and social interaction - shaped by a fine sense for the right moment...
