Stiftsweihnacht am See

What's it about?

From December 4 to 6, 2026, the Stiftsweihnacht am See transforms the Baroque Ossiach Abbey into a sparkling fairy-tale world. It is best explored with the whole family. Those who prefer to spend the Advent season with atmospheric music, sweet treats, and a relaxed stroll through the Christmas market featuring crafts and handmade products from the region—ranging from ceramics, crackled glass, wooden art objects, handbags, herbs, soaps, and much more—can do so at a very special place: the festively decorated Ossiach Abbey. Here, visitors can pass the time waiting for the Christ Child with concerts, a colorful dance and theater program, and wonderful culinary delights.
