And people in this region have always known about the application and effects of these gifts of nature. The core theme of this guided tour is the versatile use of native plants, explained by a Biosphere Park ranger. The practical highlight is the production of a "Pechsalbe" (resin salve), for which you will collect the raw material directly from nature.
