Dunkelgraue Lieder - A Tribute to Ludwig Hirsch
What's it about?
An evening in honor of Ludwig Hirsch with Johnny Bertl, Wolf Bachofner, Jo Bertl, Felix Kramer, and Kaspar Simonischek. Johnny Bertl tells the story of a friendship. The Austrian singer-songwriter Ludwig Hirsch shaped the Austropop history with his unforgettable songs. Since his legendary debut album "Dunkelgraue Lieder" (1978), featuring classics like "Die Omama," "Spuck den Schnuller aus," "Der Herr Haslinger," "I lieg am Ruckn," and with the great legacy of "Komm großer schwarzer Vogel," Ludwig Hirsch remains deeply in the consciousness of his fans and companions. His long-time companion, bandleader, and guitarist Johnny Bertl guarantees the familiar Hirsch live sound with his fantastic band. Together with Felix Kramer, Jo Bertl, Wolf Bachofner, and Kaspar Simonischek, we want to commemorate the incomparable Ludwig Hirsch and dedicate this special evening to the work of the greatest Austrian singer-songwriter of our time. In this spirit — Ludwig, we think of you!
