Evening Tours at the Auer von Welsbach Museum

What's it about?

You will discover in this unique exhibition worldwide rare exhibits of the first metal filament incandescent lamps, an impressive collection of rare lighters, and the earliest gas glow lighting devices. The museum also introduces visitors to the discovery of four elements through spectral analysis by Dr. Carl Auer von Welsbach. Other topics at the Auer von Welsbach Museum include the development of humanity through lighting technology and the evolution of lighter technology. Every Wednesday at 7 PM, there is a museum tour (duration approx. 100 minutes). We request advance registration due to limited participant numbers at Tel. +43 4262 4335.
