WELCOME to the Auer von Welsbach Museum. The museum also illustrates to visitors the discovery of four elements by means of spectral analysis by Dr. med. Carl Auer von Welsbach. Further topics in the Auer von Welsbach Museum are the development of mankind based on lighting technology and the development of fire technology. With the help of a PC, visitors can interactively (in German) gain further insights into the life and work of this universal genius who gave mankind light and fire. A ten-minute video (in German) shows his life and work. The world's only laboratory with original equipment is the highlight of the museum; here visitors can experience a light and sound show at the touch of a button.
