In this unique exhibition, you will discover globally unique exhibits of the first metal-filament light bulbs, an impressive collection of rare lighters, and the earliest gas mantle lighting fixtures. The museum also introduces visitors to Dr. Carl Auer von Welsbach's discovery of four elements with the help of spectral analysis. Further topics in the Auer von Welsbach Museum include the development of humanity based on lighting technology, as well as the development of lighter technology. Every Wednesday at 7 PM, there is a museum tour (duration approx. 100 minutes). We kindly request advance registration - due to a limited number of participants - at Tel. +43 4262 4335
