Best of S.T.S. & Austropop - Auf A Wort
What's it about?
Since 2014, 'Auf A Wort' has expanded its repertoire. The band can now also be booked with the program 'Best of Austropop'! This features the best of S.T.S. along with a true hit parade of Austropop greats such as Reinhard Fendrich, Wolfgang Ambros, Georg Danzer (or Austria3), Peter Cornelius, Hubert von Goisern, EAV, and others. The program also includes songs from newer, current Austropop bands like Wanda, Seiler & Speer, Pizzera & Jaus – guaranteed to create lively party atmosphere! The band has already performed numerous very successful shows with this program. A live CD titled 'Best of Austropop' has also been released. The highlight of their over 10-year success story was on April 18, 2016, at the sold-out, legendary Circus-Krone-Bau in Munich – the venue where the original Austropop artists also performed! This event was topped by an open-air concert during the Augustini-Festtage on August 23, 2019, in A-Fürstenfeld. 'Auf A Wort' had the great honor of performing here in the hometown of STS's 'T', Günter Timischl, with a much-celebrated concert at the full Augustinerplatz – and this was even 35 years after the original release of the cult song 'Fürstenfeld'. This highlight was repeated in 2021.
