Stadtführung durch Friesach

What's it about?

As few places have preserved their medieval appearance as well as Friesach. The castles and ruins on the hill, the fortifications consisting of the water-filled city moat and defensive walls and towers, as well as the many churches and monasteries shape the cityscape. Formerly, the prince-archbishops of Salzburg resided here, along with dukes and hundreds of knights who gathered for tournaments. No registration required. Schedule: 1:30 PM meeting point at the main square in front of the large Brunnern opposite Villa Bucher. Duration: 1.5 hours Cost: FREE for Wörthersee Pluscard holders (€10 per person without Wörthersee Pluscard).
