City tour through St. Veit/Glan

What's it about?

The Carinthian dukes once resided in St. Veit an der Glan, and around the city, nobles built their castles, which became family seats. St. Veit was THE provincial capital long before Klagenfurt and also an economic center as a trading hub for the legendary "Noric Iron." The construction of the Southern Railway in the 19th century made St. Veit the "railway town," but at that time, the town also gained fame for cultivating hops and asparagus.
