What's it about?

At Kunstbahnhof Wörthersee, creativity and compassion come together: Carinthia/Koroška is not turning away — the association "Kärnten andas" is collecting warm clothing again for people freezing along the Balkan route: "Please open your hearts and search your wardrobes. Bring your donations to one of the collection points and encourage your friends, colleagues, and family to participate." The Kunstbahnhof Wörthersee team is participating as a collection point, with a special event: ART FOR THE HEART – under this motto, Tanja Salbrechter creates colorful small artworks that bring a lot of color into the world. Part of the proceeds from sales will go directly to "SOS Balkanroute" and thus support people fleeing. Some artworks from the community of the Kunstbahnhof Wörthersee team will also be included. On Sunday, November 8, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with coffee and pastries at the well-heated Kunstbahnhof Wörthersee, Bahnhofplatz 1, Hausbahnsteig Ost, 9220 Velden.
