Three Lakes Hike Location: Velden am Wörthersee, Carinthia Benefits with the Wörthersee Plus Card: Free participation Description: Starting from the boat landing stage in Velden, this varied hike first leads through the town with its villas from the Wörthersee architecture era to the Franzosenkirche. From there, the path begins through the impressive Römerschlucht gorge towards Forstsee. Through beautiful mixed forest, the group reaches the "Hohes Kreuz" viewpoint. From here, a magnificent view opens up over Velden, Lake Wörthersee, and as far as the Karawanken and Julian Alps. Subsequently, the route continues to the idyllic Forstsee, which also invites swimming in the summer months. Via the Kleinsee, the path finally leads back through the Römerschlucht gorge to Velden.
