Design & Knowledge Transfer: Jian Ping He
What's it about?
Jian Ping He lives and works in Berlin as a graphic designer, professor, and publisher between Europe and China. His work operates at the intersection of design, culture, and visual language. With his studio hesign, which he founded, he develops projects that understand design not as a surface, but as a cultural practice. In teaching and publishing, he has been engaged for many years with the question of how design conveys knowledge – and how design evolves between different cultural contexts. His works have received numerous international awards and have been shown in many exhibitions. As a member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), he is one of the formative voices in contemporary graphic design.
