Every Thursday from May 21st to mid-September 2026, the traditional farmers' market takes place in Pörtschach on the market square (Hauptstraße, height 177). Regional delicacies and treats await visitors from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM! The Pörtschach Farmers' Market, which has become a tradition, starts its new season. As usual, suppliers will present their delicacies and specialties on the market square. From May 21st to mid-September, weather permitting, shopping will be possible every Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM. Marketers from all over Carinthia will again offer a wide range of products. It ranges from bacon, salami, bread, cheese, honey products, brandies, fruit and fine jams to all kinds of soaps, woodturning products and handicrafts.
