Kopp23: Matsutake – a Dystopian Network By and with the collective Kopp23 The Carinthian/Slovenian collective Kopp23 transforms the area of the k&k center into a place of speculative preview and asks the question: What remains when humans leave and where does life begin when it ceases to be human?In a scenic performance of language, music, dance, and textile design, the collective deals with the reversed power relations between humans and nature. The focus is on fungal networks underground - as a symbol for hidden connections, resilience, and a possible future beyond human dominance. An artistic exploration of loss and reconquest of habitat at several locations of the k&k center.
