With the project "Relations | Odnosi", the Anja Smolnik 4tet presents a vibrant sound world in which unspoken thoughts become audible and music merges with conversation. Centered around the theme of relations, the project is dedicated to relationships and diverse connections that shape and enrich life. Inspired by life, friendships, sound and silence, unheard feelings and nature, jazz singer Anja Smolnik presents her compositions, lyrics and thoughts, which are made audible by the interplay of the quartet. The quartet allows the music to grow organically, interact and merge with the narrative character of the compositions and improvisation. The music thrives on playfulness and dreamy lightness as well as powerful and quiet moments. Anja Smolnik 4tet s projektom „Relations | Odnosi“ predstavlja živahen zvočni svet, v katerem postanejo neizrečene misli slišne, glasba pa se zlije s pogovorom. Projekt se posveča odnosom in raznolikim povezavam, ki zaznamujejo in bogatijo življenje. Navdihnjena z življenjem, prijateljstvi, zvokom in tišino, neizrekljivimi občutki in naravo, jazz pevka Anja Smolnik predstavlja svoje kompozicije, besedila in misli, ki jih oživlja igranje kvarteta. Kvartet omogoča, da glasba organsko raste, se prepleta in združuje s pripovednim značajem skladb ter improvizacijo. Glasba živi od igrivosti in sanjske lahkotnosti ter močnih in mirnih trenutkov.
