What's it about?

The city center of Bleiburg/Pliberk will be entirely focused on Nordic sports at the end of September. The Skiroller City Race Bleiburg/Pliberk brings together around 300 athletes from Austria, Slovenia, and Italy for a cross-border competition weekend. The race is held in freestyle on a varied circuit through the historic city center. The event begins on Friday, September 25, with the action-packed Raiffeisen Skiroller Super Sprint. On the approximately 200-meter sprint course, athletes compete in exciting duels in individual starts and subsequent heats. On Saturday, September 26, the Skiroller City Race features mass starts in all age categories. The program is complemented by the Lions Charity Primary School Run, where students compete for their schools. Spectators can look forward to high-class sports, exciting competitions, and a unique atmosphere right in the middle of Bleiburg's city center. Meeting point: 12:00 PM in Bleiburg city center. Start and finish at Bleiburg main square.
