Skiroller City-Race Bleiburg/Pliberk

What's it about?

At the end of September, Bleiburg's city center will be entirely dedicated to Nordic sports. Around 300 athletes from Austria, Slovenia, and Italy will gather for a cross-border competition weekend at the Skiroller City Race Bleiburg/Pliberk. The race will be held in freestyle on a varied circuit through the historic city center. The event kicks off on Friday, September 25, with the action-packed Raiffeisen Skiroller Super Sprint. On the approximately 200-meter sprint course, athletes will engage in exciting duels in individual starts and subsequent heats. On Saturday, September 26, the Skiroller City Race will follow with mass starts in all age categories. The program will be complemented by the Lions Charity Primary School Run, where students will compete for their schools. Spectators can look forward to high-class sport, exciting competitions, and a unique atmosphere in the heart of Bleiburg's city center.
