EXHIBITION | RAZSTAVA | MOSTRA Gerhard Maurer (A) No Man's Land - Art, Music, and Social Reflection The exhibition "No Man's Land" by Carinthian photographer Gerhard Maurer was visited with great interest at Galerie Vorspann. The vernissage, organized by the association Kino Kreativ Kulturaktiv, took place on Friday, October 16, and marked a fitting conclusion to the main exhibitions of this season. Maurer's photographs lead into the former Bärenwirt inn in the Gurktal, which today serves as accommodation for asylum seekers, and into an environment characterized by vacancy and traces of past times. The images tell of change, farewell and arrival, as well as the search for home and belonging. Nora Leitgeb expressed clear words in her introduction regarding Maurer's artistic work and the societal questions raised by his photographs.
