Ramsau Via Ferrata to Guttenberghaus (B/C)

What's it about?

This via ferrata is scenically one of the most beautiful in the region and is also one of the long tours in terms of fitness, with 3000 climbing meters. The via ferrata is not easy to reach, as you first have to take the ladder to the Rosmarienstollen and then descend to the Edelgriesgletscher. From the Edelgrieshöhe, the via ferrata, laid out along the ridge, starts with fantastic deep views into the Ramsau. After 2 hours of climbing, we reach the highest peak, the Scheichenspitze (2664m). From there, it's another approx. 1 hour to the Hohe Rams. A cozy stop at the Guttenberghaus, before we tackle the remaining 1000m descent. The end is at approx. 5:00 p.m. Meeting point 7:30 a.m. Dachstein cable car valley station. Costs: from 160,- Euro, includes guide and equipment.
