Ramsauer Klettersteig to Guttenberghaus (Difficulty B/C)

What's it about?

This via ferrata is considered one of the most beautiful in the region in terms of scenery and is also a long tour with 3,000 meters of climbing, requiring good condition. The route is not easily accessible, as you first need to take the ladder to the Rosmarienstollen and then descend to the Edelgriesgletscher. From the Edelgrieshöhe, the route follows the ridge with fantastic views down into Ramsau. After two hours of climbing, we reach the highest peak, Scheichenspitze (2,664m). From there, it continues for about another hour to Hohen Rams. A cozy stop at Guttenberghaus is planned before tackling the remaining 1,000 meters of descent. The tour ends around 5:00 PM. Meeting point is at 7:30 AM at the Dachstein cable car valley station. Cost: from 160 euros, includes guide and equipment.
