Via Ferrata "Franzl" (C/D), Gasselwand on the Reiteralm

What's it about?

A new and so far the only via ferrata in the Schladminger Tauern. Beautifully situated in the Reiteralm ski area, the via ferrata impressively ascends steeply above the Spiegelsee. On Tuesday morning, the meeting point is at 9:00 AM at the Preuneggjet valley station, the gondola from Preunegg up to the Reiteralm (this can be used free of charge with the Sommercard). We start with a detailed introduction to via ferrata climbing, then it's straight into the action...:-)! We will be back at the starting point around 1:00 PM, and afterwards you can spend a nice day on the Reiteralm, with a circular path and swimming opportunities at the Spiegelsee. There are a maximum of 4 people in the group. With several C/D sections, this 250m long via ferrata should not be underestimated, especially when wet. Meeting point 9:00 AM Preuneggjet valley station. Cost: from 120,- Euro, includes guide and equipment.
