Intensive Course: Pottery on the Wheel

What's it about?

Have you always wanted to try your hand at the potter's wheel? Then this compact course is perfect for you! You decide what kind of piece you will make - small cups, vases, bowls and much more are possible. After drying, your pieces will be fired once, and you can either come to glaze them approximately 2 weeks after the course during one of our Open Ceramic Workshop sessions, or take them home unglazed. The number of participants is limited (minimum age 14 years). 3 hours of instruction on the potter's wheel in a group Cost: 80 Euros / Includes clay, firing, and introduction, ongoing support and explanations of all steps. Not included: Glazing and second firing - for this, it's best to book a session in the Open Ceramic Workshop that is at least 2 weeks later. You can also arrange this directly at the workshop. Payment/Cancellation conditions: Participation can be cancelled free of charge up to 10 days before the start of the course exclusively by email to keramik@medienkulturhaus.at. After 10 days, half of the money will be retained, and anyone who simply does not show up on the day of the course will pay the full amount. With high demand and long waiting lists, it is simply not fair if someone cancels at short notice or simply does not come. Analog vouchers: When booking, select the discount "Gutschein analog" (Analog voucher) and enter the voucher number and voucher value in the text field.
