
The Notgasse at the foot of the Stoderzinken, in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Hallstatt-Dachstein-Salzkammergut, represents a path connecting Gröbming to the higher alpine pastures on the eastern Dachstein plateau. The path, only accessible to pedestrians, was used by alpine farmers, drovers, and charcoal workers. The impressive gorge with rock walls up to 60 m high and historical rock carvings offers visitors an aura of the mysterious and mystical. By taxi, you go to the Rosemialm, from there you hike through untouched natural landscape and the eerie rock gorge, always downhill, to the Lend parking lot in the Öfen.
