Tour of Finstergrün Castle

What's it about?

Come with us on an adventurous journey through time and learn many exciting details about the medieval castle. During our approximately one-hour tour, you will hear many interesting facts about the old Finstergrün Castle in the age of knights, about the new "comital castle" of the Szápáry family, and about today's children's and youth castle. There is also much for children to discover, and with a bit of luck, our castle ghost, the "Finsterling", might even reveal his favorite spots to them... Castle tours are available at the following times: July to August: daily tours at 2:30 PM May to June and September to early October: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays at 2:30 PM The Naschkammer (snack chamber) is open at the following times: June to July 5: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays from 1 PM to 6 PM July 6 to August 31: daily from 1 PM to 6 PM For house guests: daily from 1 PM to 2 PM and from 5 PM to 6 PM Fairy Tale & Legend Tour: bookable upon request for 8 people or more
