A new program presented by Karl Markovics, Austria's award-winning exceptional artist, versatile character actor, director, and all-round talent, together with the duo BartolomeyBittmann: It features authors and feuilletonists from a time and environment with which he clearly resonates, allowing him to delve introspectively, detail-oriented, and linguistically in the depths of the Austrian soul. It is a musical journey through various soundscapes undertaken by BartolomeyBittmann: As innovative bridge-builders between styles, Matthias Bartolomey (cello) and Klemens Bittmann (violin & mandola) create sound connections that are far from conventional. With their own compositions, they open classical music and blend it with elements of rock, jazz, folk, and chamber music — the unmistakably energetic music of BartolomeyBittmann.
