What's it about?
Trust in your luck, because you can make a lot out of little. The young Hans is quite surprised when he sees what is desperately clinging to a piece of wood drifting past the mill in the river: a small kitten! Of course, it must be rescued and cared for, and Hans is allowed to keep it. The cute kitten becomes a cat, and when the old miller dies and the older brother inherits the mill, this cat is the only thing left to poor Hans. Suddenly, the animal begins to speak, demands boots, and promises Hans a happy future. Before that can happen, the king must be convinced, a band of robbers must be chased away, and the princess's love must be won. And then there is the evil wizard who can transform into wild animals and would like to become the most powerful ruler of all time... Charles Perrault first mentioned him, the Brothers Grimm wrote his story, and today he is brought to life in the animated films of DreamWorks.
