What's it about?
Theater mit Horizont presents a musical for the whole family! A journey around the world in 80 days? No problem, says the English gentleman Phileas Fogg and bets 20,000 pounds that he can accomplish this feat. The Suez Canal has been opened and the transcontinental railway across the USA has been completed. But then his servant quits, and the only replacement is a boy who doesn't even have a name and calls himself Passepartout-"Everywhere". The mismatched pair embarks on the journey. By ship, train, carriage, and even on the back of an elephant, they experience all sorts of adventures, rescue an Indian princess, and realize that they can learn a lot from each other. Additionally, they are pursued by a detective who believes Fogg is a bank robber and tries everything to arrest him. After 80 days, they finally reach their hometown London, but have exceeded the agreed time limit by five minutes. How Phileas Fogg still wins the bet and also finds his happiness is a surprise for everyone…
