The Karl Ratzer Trio, consisting of the outstanding Karl Ratzer (guitar and vocals), the brilliant bassist Peter Herbert, and the fantastic drummer Howard Curtis, is now presenting itself for the first time in a trio format. Together, they explore the Great American Songbook, and it is a true pleasure to listen to them. Their synergy showcases Ratzer's guitar mastery in relaxed grooves and heartfelt ballads. Particularly remarkable are his vocal performances, which have never sounded as confident and warm. Ratzer's unique blend of musical influences, from psychedelic rock to jazz, characterizes his remarkable career. He remains an extraordinary figure in Austrian jazz and embodies the essence of heartfelt music.
