New Year's Eve Concert 2026 – 'A Waltz It Must Be' performed by the Wiener Salonsolisten & Arabella Fenyves. The Wiener Salonsolisten are a community of 13 Viennese musicians who have been working together for over 30 years. The ensemble is dedicated to the preservation of classical salon music from the 19th and 20th centuries. Each year, the ensemble presents a New Year's program featuring the great hits of the golden and silver operetta eras. The current program, 'A Waltz It Must Be,' includes works by the Strauss dynasty and compositions by operetta masters Franz Lehár, Robert Stolz, and Emmerich Kálmán. Guest star is singer, actress, and radio host Arabella Fenyves. She is considered one of the best interpreters of Viennese operetta repertoire and will also host the concert. The unique feature of the Salonsolisten is their skillful mix of virtuosity, joy of performance, and showmanship, making their concerts a 'must' for all fans of salon music.
