openVOICES

What's it about?

openVOICES are eleven voices, united in friendly harmony. Founded in 2023, the ensemble combines over 20 years of musical experience and a close friendship, grown through making music together in choirs and ensembles at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. The group stands for tasteful, exciting arrangements, precise interplay, and elegant vocal sound. The program includes a cappella interpretations of well-known songs by pop greats such as The Beatles, Beach Boys, Sting, Michael Jackson, Coldplay, and many more. All titles are performed in sophisticated arrangements – some self-penned, some from the repertoire of renowned vocal groups like The Real Group or Pentatonix. The mix of classical a cappella tradition and modern influences creates special sound moments.
