Tuesday, September 15, 2026, 4:00 PM: Introductory lecture "When familiar becomes unfamiliar" by the Kieselstein Institute as part of the FGÖ-funded project "Healthy on the go – Staying active with dementia" at the Begegnungszentrum Lerchenfeld, Europaplatz 1b/1st floor. Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Dementia course and information booths by "SALZ" (Styrian Alzheimer Help) and the "Psychosocial Counseling Center for Older People" in the foyer of the Town Hall, Erzherzog Johann-Straße 2. Additionally, an exhibition with images on risk factors for dementia will be displayed in the Town Hall foyer. It aims to illustrate the topic and encourage early engagement with possible influencing factors and prevention. Friday, September 18, 2026, 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Information booths, lectures, interactive stations with music – a program on the topic of dementia with speaker Andrea Schnedl, dementia expert at Caritas Care and Support, at the Caritas Nursing Home Leoben-Göß, Hirschgraben 5. Monday, September 21, 2026, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM: "Memory Walk – Path of Memories". Participate and evoke personal memories with scents at the pharmacy in Göss. At 7:00 PM: Film screening of "The Infinite Memory" at Cineplexx Leoben. Tuesday, September 22, 2026, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM: "Memory Walk – Path of Memories". Participate and evoke personal memories with scents at the pharmacy in Göss. Additionally, from September 21 to 25, daily expert information and tips on the topic of dementia will be available at the Göss pharmacy. Wednesday, September 23, 2026, 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM: "Open House Day" with coffee and cake at the Senior Day Center Leoben, Pestalozzistraße 31.
