In June 2025, the warm-up began. Thomas Stipsits called his "team" to the Wiener Orpheum to give a few "warm-up concerts" for Seiler & Speer's stadium spectacle on July 19th at Happel Stadium. But even at the Orpheum, it was clear that this was not a cover band at work, but highly motivated musicians who would breathe new life into a music genre - Austropop. This was impressively proven at the stadium concert. Numerous bands were engaged there to warm up Seiler & Speer's fans for their "main act." For this, the Schick Sisters with the Opus band were engaged, Wolfgang Ambros and the Nr. 1 vom Wienerwald, as well as comedy legend Otto Waalkes and his Friesenjungs. This great supporting program already ran in the afternoon in front of around 40,000 visitors. At 4:30 PM, Thomas Stipsits' band took the stage: Christina Zauner, keyboardist and "boss" of the band Thomas Hechenberger (E-Guit/Backing Vocals) Raphaela Fries (Drums) Michael Mozeth (Bass/Backing Vocals) Chris Harras (Acoustic-Guit/Backing Vocals) As the first bars of "Ollas Leiwaund" were struck, audience favorite Thomas Stipsits stormed onto the stage to his band to thunderous applause from the fans. This was followed by a short high mass of Austropop, full of joy and energy. Strictly speaking, it was the teaser for the high mass that the band will celebrate in the future and that will ultimately make the audience unanimously confess: Austropop lives!
