What's it about?
Theater Tabor presents 'Pippi plunders the Christmas Tree,' a wonderfully lively Christmas story by Astrid Lindgren on stage. Pippi Longstocking would, of course, not be Pippi if she didn't celebrate Christmas in her own unique, unusual way – with lots of imagination, mischief, and plenty of surprises. At Pippi's Christmas celebration, all the children in the town are invited to dance and join in the festivities. But before the big plundering party can begin, there are still some things to do: about 18 kilos of candies need to be gathered, along with freckles cream and perfume. Even the hand of a mannequin could prove to be very useful. Pippi has a plan for everything. Finally, the day arrives: Christmas Day – and the children can look forward to what Pippi has prepared for them. A cheerful and lively children's theater full of wit, imagination, and Pippi-style surprises. An entertaining Christmas story for the whole family that invites participation, dancing, and wonder, and takes children from age 5 into the colorful world of Pippi Longstocking.
