What's it about?

What do Perlrenette, Siebenschläfer, Schafnase, Maschanzker & Co taste like? Who knows the aromas of the numerous varieties still found in the orchards of southern Burgenland? Discover our large variety exhibition of apple and pear varieties and taste rarities on site that are hardly found elsewhere. Large variety exhibition with over 150 old apple varieties, including rarities such as Schafnase, Siebenschläfer, and Goldrenette. Visitors can taste numerous varieties and also purchase them directly. Exciting lectures, excursions, and guided tastings take place daily – covering topics such as orchard cultivation, pruning, use of wild herbs, apple wines, and apple vinegar. During the week, there are special tours and programs for schools and kindergartens as well as offers for orchard owners and connoisseurs. On October 24 and 25, a large autumn market, apple tastings, an apple market with sales, and numerous stalls with orchard specialties will attract visitors.
