The Augustinian Church in Fürstenfeld is one of the art-historical treasures in our region. We cordially invite you to discover its history, its impressive artworks, and its special atmosphere during an extraordinary guided tour. Josef Rauscher and Dr. Gerhard Trousil will accompany you on an exciting journey through several centuries of church and art history. The focus will be on the precious Gothic Pietà, the impressive Gothic crucifix, the crescent moon Madonna, and the fascinating frescoes by Johannes Aquila. The artworks will not only be presented but also placed in their historical and social context and brought to life and made understandable with interesting background stories.
