What's it about?

"The Freaky Friday Jailhouse Gang" are a Graz funk band with influences from rock, blues, soul, and jazz. Founded in the early 2010s, the band consists of singer Lorena Valta, guitarist Markus Steinrück, bassist Tobias Steinrück, and drummer Fabian Steinrück. (No, the surnames are not a coincidence, they are brothers.) After many years of playing covers of great artists (The Beatles, Sting, Stevie Wonder, and many, many more), the three brothers and their chosen sister decided to give writing their own compositions a chance: So in 2021 they released their first album "Don't Panic This Is Serious", followed in 2022 by the concept album "Rise Of The Animal Kingdom". On 29.07.2022 they had the great pleasure of playing as the opening act at the TOTO concert in Graz. Let's have a funky time!
