Big Band Kulmination in Concert
What's it about?
BBK is the abbreviation for Big Band Kulmination and is the name of a big band that has its roots around the Oststeiermark (Eastern Styria) region near Kulm. The idea to establish a big band in the Kulm area and surroundings was conceived by the big band leader Fredi Lang, who acts in a kind of dual role as conductor, improvisation trumpet player, musical end authority, and vice chairman with an inter-big band mediating role in interpersonal conflicts and conflict sources when searching for new pieces and matching them with the tastes of the band members. The special thing about this big band: it has not only grown musically together but has become a true musical family. Since 2004, the Big Band Kulmination has been interpreting pieces with great passion and dedication. Time: 8:00 PM (doors open at 7:00 PM). Tickets can be reserved by calling T: 0664/5148150.
