Pascal Violo - Kanada & Alaska - Into the Wild
What's it about?
Pascal Violo will be performing on November 25, 2027, at forumKLOSTER and takes the audience on an impressive journey through the pristine wilderness of Canada and Alaska. With spectacular images and gripping stories, the travel journalist recounts an expedition full of adventure, natural forces, and extraordinary encounters. Together with his family, he sails through the uninhabited island world of the Inside Passage in southeastern Alaska and experiences humpback whales up close. On the Yukon, the longest free-flowing river in North America, he paddles 800 kilometers through the autumnal glowing forests of Canada, encounters wild bears, and follows the traces of gold prospectors around Dawson City. Other highlights of his journey include fascinating traditions of indigenous peoples, visits to Denali National Park, and reaching the Arctic at Hudson Bay, where he can observe polar bears with their cubs in their natural environment. Breathtaking landscapes, northern lights, elk, whales, and the vastness of the North make this multimedia show a moving experience. An inspiring evening about freedom, adventure, and the beauty of one of the last great wildernesses on Earth.
