Global Kryner
What's it about?
When Global Kryner presented their first CD in 2004, the music world was turned upside down. It was love at first sight. The idea was as simple as it was brilliant: take the legendary Oberkrainer sound of Slavko Avsenik, blend it with international hits, add a pinch of jazz and lots of playfulness, and the recipe is complete. The Süddeutsche Zeitung celebrated and even spoke of a "egg-laying woolly pig" in terms of music. And with "verkrynern" a new verb was created. What followed was a ride through all radio and TV formats, like rarely seen. Hundreds of concerts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Ukraine, and Mexico. After hot and quite demanding years of touring, the band said goodbye to the stage in 2013. But the love has never faded. On the contrary. Now comes: Global Kryner "2nd Love"!
