What's it about?
Johannes Silberschneider reads dialect pieces from the pens of Styrian masters of this craft. Together with members of his family, the Nette Ëltere Herren (NËH), he sings Styrian "evergreens", and NËH contribute their own songs, which accompany the evening with witty lyrics. The four NËH are a mature pop-rock group from Graz/Leibnitz. They compose, write lyrics, and produce songs on a wide variety of themes with quirky German and Styrian lyrics, and perform their art in the greater Graz area. In recent times, more than 30 songs have been created, 24 of which are currently available on various streaming channels. They released their first album - "Merk-würdige Lieder" - 4 years ago, and the second - "Collage 1909-2025" - was released at the end of March 2025. Their songs are an expression of life experience with all its accompanying phenomena, and there's a bit of everything: sometimes rocky, then poppy again, sometimes with folk touches, in any case harmonious and 'catchy' and almost never frightening.
