Nothing less than war or peace is at stake, and so Holmes and Watson team up with American actress Irene Adler to finally expose Holmes' greatest adversary, the evil genius Professor Moriarty. They get caught in a maelstrom of espionage, blackmail, and intrigue, where only at the very end will it become clear who will gain the upper hand.
