A murderously funny crime caper full of surprises! What happens when five former violent criminals open a bed and breakfast together? Actually, everything was supposed to start quite harmlessly: After successful therapy, psychotherapist Dr. Silke Hufenreuther releases her five protégés into a new life. The plan for resocialization seems as unusual as it is promising – together they open a bed and breakfast. But on opening day, everything goes awry. The therapist and her husband are the first guests, two meticulous inspectors scrutinize the operation – and suddenly there's a corpse in the lobby. Who is behind the murder? Everyone would have a motive, everyone would have had the opportunity, but no one wants to have done it. Between cleaning frenzy, chakra massage, vegan cheesecake and a lot of quirky characters, a turbulent crime story full of black humor, bizarre situations and surprising twists develops. An evening that guarantees excitement and best entertainment! "Half Board with Corpse" comes from the German author collective "Die Acht", a group of successful crime authors around Tatjana Kruse. The special challenge: The entire play was created in just eight days. The result is a fast-paced mix of crime, comedy and pointed humor that keeps the audience guessing and laughing until the last minute.
