What's it about?

kunstGarten is a museum and cultural initiative with the following goals: - Enrichment through encounters with both natural and artistic phenomena - Access to a varied artistic approach to spaces and/or plants - Manifestation of garden spaces as places of art - Encounter and engagement with socio-cultural and socio-political phenomena based on artistic and scientific communication - Gender equality This goal is served by the museum module ARCHIV HORTOPIA:Kunst.Garten.Bibliothek and a diverse annual program that deals with the theme of nature/culture in various ways and specifically uses "garden, the created open space, as a medium: real and virtual art space of humanity. The kunstGartenService researches and advises on art and plant matters. EXHIBITIONS Garden art/landscape architecture, contemporary visual arts, media art LECTURE/PERFORMANCE/FILM Film art, literature, music, theater LIBRARY/VIDEOTHEK Media sculpture Garden library, a reference and lending library / film collection GARDEN AS ART SPACE Flora Performing, Garden Archive, Rosarium WORKSHOP/SYMPOSIUM/DISCUSSION/LECTURE Scientists, artists, professionals address current socio-political topics and try to find solution-oriented approaches PUBLICATION Provision of information material in the form of handouts, texts, brochures, catalogs
